Prof. Arnab K Laha is a member of the faculty of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.He takes a keen interest in understanding how analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence can be leveraged to solve complex problems of business and society.

He is an alumnus of Indian Statistical Institute from where he received his Ph. D., M.Stat and B.Stat degrees. His areas of research interest are in advanced statistics and data analytics. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals of repute and is on the editorial board of a reputed international journal on data science.

He is the author of a popular book on business analytics and is the editor of abook on advanced analytics and applications. He is on the governing council and academic advisory boards of several well-known organisations / institutes.
