Mr.Manish Pandya is currently holding the position of Joint Director (State GDP) in Directorate of Economics & Statistics, Government of Gujarat. Also, he is holding a charge of Deputy Secretary, General Administration Department (Planning Division) Govt. of Gujarat. He has directly been associated with estimation of Gross State Domestic Product for last 18 years.

During his long career in State GDP estimation, he has written several working papers and published in reputed journals like Economic & Political Weekly. Some of his works have been published by the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has been a regular faculty for Indian Economic Services Probationers at Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration, Govt. of Gujarat.
