Mr. Madhuran is the Director of Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Government of Karnataka, Bengaluru.

Prior to his promotion as Director, DES Karnataka, he has served as a Joint Director, in the Manpower and Employment Division of Planning Department, Government of Karnataka.He wasalso Deputy Director in the Office of Chief Register of Births and Deaths.

With his experience in the domain of planning, he has rendered his servicefor more than 15 years inRural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, as a Chief Planning Officer in the Zilla Panchayats of Chikkaballapura, Bengaluru Rural and Ramanagara Districts.

As a Chief Planning Officer he prepared Action Plan, and Gram Panchayat Development Plan based on the Backwardnessof the Rural Local Bodies. Which are required for the implementation of Development Programmes.
