Dr. Tarun Das completed his PhD as Commonwealth Scholar from UEA, England, UK.

Initially from Indian Economic Service he held several key positions in Government of India that includes the positions of Economic Adviser in Ministry of Finance and Adviser (Modelling and Policy Planning) in the Planning Commission, and in PSU Steel Authority of India.

Dr. Das is an International Consultant on Public Financial Management (PFM) Reforms. He has worked as PFM Consultant for international agencies such as ADB, AfDB, IMF, WB, COMSEC, UNCTAD, UNDP, UNECA, UNESCAP, UNITAR, UNSIAP in twenty six countries in Asia, Africa, EU and USA.
