Snehal S. Herwadkar serves as Director of the Prices and Monetary Research Division, Reserve Bank of India. She leads a team of researchers for inflation projections and presents at the Monetary Policy Committee meetings.

Her research interests center on macro-financial stability analysis. In addition to holding a PhD and the CAIIB charter, Snehal has published extensively in peer-reviewed academic journals and served as a reviewer for esteemed publications, such as Springer and the RBI’s Monthly Bulletin. Her research and professional achievements have been recognized through the Central Bank Research Fellowship of BIS and Best Research Paper Award by the RBI.
