Dr. Radha joined the Government of India’s Indian Statistical Service in 1998 and has since built an extensive career in policy planning, statistical systems and sectoral analysis.

She worked in various capacities in different departments of Government of India like Planning Commission, Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Ministry of Agriculture and Department of Biotechnology.

She later worked as DDG in DMEO, NITI AAYOG  which is an apex ‘Think Tank ‘ and did  monitoring and evaluation of various schemes and programmes  of Government of India.

Since February 2026, she has been serving as Deputy Director General  in the National Accounts Division of Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
