Dr. Madhu Bala Jain joined LADY SHRI RAM [LSR} College for Women as a permanent lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Statistics in1981. She has been teaching different papers namely ‘Statistical Inference‘; ‘Probability and Statistical Methods’; ‘Integral Calculus’; and‘Business Mathematics’ to different Honours. Courses at undergraduate level.
She has been a member of ‘Committee of Courses’ of Department of Statistics and Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, Delhi University.She was a Board advisor in Staff Selection Commission for many years.
Her field of specialization is ‘Statistical Inference and Nonparametric Methods in Life-Testing and Reliability’ for which she was awarded M.Phil. in1980 and Ph.D. degree in 1993,under the supervision of Prof.Kanwar Sen, Former Head Department of Statistics and Dean of Faculty of Mathematics, University of Delhi, India. Six research papers of Dr. Jain have been published in different volumes of the journal of Communications in Statistics (Theory and Methods)’, New York.
Currently Dr.Jain is an Associate Professorand senior most faculty member of Department of Statistics in Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
